Power Vinyasa classes are vigorous yoga flow classes that connect the postures with breath creating a challenging practice, set to music. The emphasis is on building stamina, power, focus, flexibility and grace in the midst of challenge.
Taken from the primary series of the Ashtanga Yoga tradition, this sequence is consistent through each class, allowing for each student to objectively measure their progress. This series offers modifications of some of the more challenging poses given.
Geared toward beginner yogis, this class is focused on teaching the basic principles of yoga. Learn proper alignment, postures and the Sanskrit terminology for the numerous poses.
