Jenna graduated from Marymount University in 2002. The setting at Hive enables Jenna to provide one:one skilled therapy and affords patients the opportunity of transitioning to a independent fitness program once completing physical therapy.
Beeta received her Master’s degree in Nutrition from D’Youville College, with a focus in weight loss, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from McMaster University. Beeta has recently earned her Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Certificate in Adult Weight Management. She is also a nationally Certified Diabetes Educator.
Abbey is a passionate fitness professional specializing in Pilates. She is a Balance Body certified Pilates Reformer Instructor and has a Zen*ga Mat 1 certification from Stott Pilates.
With over eight years of industry experience Nick holds certifications from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM-CPT), NASM Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), International Sports Conditioning Association (ISCA) Kickboxing, American Council on Exercise (ACE) Partner Assisted Stretch and American Institute of Fitness Educators (AIFE) Senior Exercise Specialist.
Stephanie is a graduate of the College of Charleston and a certified Sommelier. Pairing her enthusiasm for the culinary arts with her passion for health and fitness Stephanie strives to encourage and motivate others to live a healthful, balanced lifestyle.
Elizabeth graduated from University at Buffalo with her Bachelors in Exercise Science and is a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine.
Kathleen earned her Bachelors Degree in Exercise and Integrated Science from the State University of New York College at Fredonia and is a National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer.
George is passionate about cycling–and enjoys sharing his passion with other. He is a Mad Dogg Athletics Certified Spinning Instructor. He is also an active member of the Buffalo Triathlon Club and a competitive triathlete.
Kendra received her Bachelors in Exercise Science from the University at Buffalo and is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association NSCA-CPT . In addition Kendra holds certifications from Mad Dogg Athletics (Spinning), dotFit, and NASM Corrective Exercise Specialist.
Karla received her BA in English/writing arts from SUNY Oswego and her Masters in English Education from the University of Buffalo. In the early 1990s, she earned her national certification from AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) and has been teaching some form of fitness (dance, aerobics, body sculpt, yoga) since 1986.
A competitive soccer player and distance runner for more than 20 years, Karla got into yoga after experiencing a major knee injury and realizing maintaining flexibility and core strength are keys to aging gracefully.
A high school English teacher by day, Karla loves educating people of all ages on the benefits of Vinyasa Yoga to the body, mind and spirit. She also continues to improve her overall fitness level by training with Hive’s outstanding personal trainers.
Maria is an NFPT certified trainer, a Fitness Competitor Coach, a sponsored Figure Competitor. She has experience training a wide range of individuals with different needs and goals.
Lindsay’s passion for fitness is contagious. She is a Certified Spinning Instructor through Mad Dogg Athletics, Certified Insanity Instructor through Beachbody and Certified PiYo Instructor. Lindsay is constantly looking for new and exciting ways to motivate and drive results for everybody.
Patrick is a graduate of the Red Lotus Yoga School Teacher Training Program under the direction of Brian Granader. He recently completed his 500 level training with a specialization in Yoga Therapy at the Ananda Seva Mission in Modesto, CA. He is also a lululemon ambassador.
Michele has been a world-class athlete and fitness trainer for more than twenty years. Michele graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a B.S. in Physical Education / Sports Management and is also certified through Stott Pilates completing their comprehensive program in Matwork, Reformer and Barre.
Lisa earned her Masters of Science in Exercise and Wellness from Arizona State University. Lisa holds certifications as a NSCA Strength and Conditioning Specialist, ACE Certified Group Exercise Instructor, TRX Suspension Trainer and dotFIT Certified Fitness Professional. An avid endurance athlete, Lisa competes in marathons and triathlons ranging from sprint to full Ironman distances.
Sarah has a BS from Ohio State and a MS from Buffalo State College. She holds her Aerobics and Fitness Association of America Group Exercise Certification. Sara brings a strong background in dance and ballet to our Barre fitness classes, as she danced from age 5-17.
An avid cyclist, Meredith combines her love of the sport with her interest in music to create a spin profile that is fast-paced, challenging and reflective of an outdoor ride. Meredith is an endurance rider, often covering 60-100 mile stretches across western New York several times each week.
Ashley holds her BA from SUNY College at Buffalo. She is a natural figure competitor and is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM-CPT).
Emily earned her Personal Trainer Certification through the industry leading National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM-CPT) and successfully completed their Corrective Exercise Specialist (NASM-CES) and Performance Enhancement Specialist (NASM-PES) programs. Emily is currently working on her degree in Health & Wellness degree at Buffalo State College were she also is also a member of their Division III Soccer and Hockey teams.
Justin’s passion for fitness is felt by each and every one of his clients. He is a ISSA-CFT (Certified Fitness Trainer), a dotFIT Certified Fitness Professional and is currently working towards completing his NASM-CPT.
